Welcome to Go Girls! Camp

Go Girls! is not just a summer camp. It’s a movement.

As of today, there are more girls registered for Go Girls! Camp than there has ever been.  Over 250 girls will become Go Girls! this summer in 10 sessions in 4 different Bay Area cities. We are very proud of this fact…but…dare we want more?  Dare we hope to grow this movement to 300?  Dare we imagine what 300 Go Girls! could do?

WHO is Go Girls! Camp for?
For rising 1st-6th grade girls and Middle school girls as part of our Go Girls! Leadership Team (GGLT).

I can’t stress how much the camps you run are terrific!  You have a camp that does everything right.  They are so thoughtful and creative and one of the few camps that actually follow the child’s lead!”

WHAT do Go Girls! do?
Go Girls! work together to make and perform their own plays that we believe will change the world.

Over the course of 2 weeks, girls engage in theater and expressive arts learning that reinforce social/emotional skills. The camps are led by a team of highly trained and very talented theater teaching artists, expressive artists, and the coolest teen and pre-teen assistants you will ever meet.

Go Girls! Camp day goes from 9am-4pm is intentionally designed to include the perfect balance of facilitated community building time, arts-based instructional time, and plenty of free play.  Girls engage with drama/acting, visual arts, creative movement/dance and music.  We take time to play outside.  We take time to relax and read.  The “big show” is performed at 4pm on the last day of the 2 week session and just might be one of the most exciting and original theatrical experiences you will ever attend.
